AMEB Theory Grade 5 Set Works Supplement 2020 edition

The syllabus for AMEB Grade 5 Theory involves researching the musical forms Minuet and Trio, Air and Variations, Recitative and Aria and Scherzo. Usually, examples are given from previously unseen scores. From 2020 however, there are two set works from which students will be examined. This supplement contains the framework for studying the components on the new 2020 AMEB Musicianship Grade 5 Theory syllabus, including sample questions and a one-page summary of each set work.

The AMEB has published their own analyses of the set works and it is highly recommended that students source these from the AMEB website.
